Nostalgia for the future

A hero of Pigs told me a couple of days that he often felt nostalgia for those days when, with just 20, led a mortar battery and fought with a smile, because they were intact all utopias.Even I felt that I spread his feeling, while reviewing pictures and memories with the Prelude and the victory of Silvio Sara playing in the background.History, our history is so heavy, so solid, so real, these traps often get very often. Then we tie up to it and feel the glory years and were experienced. The fatal tendency to believe that our descendants will have neither the opportunity nor the utopias to feed their nostalgia for older, depressed us and paralyzes us.But this nostalgia April 16 escaped forward. It was the future. The utopias of that hero of Pigs must have budded as mine, although he and I are almost 20 years away and roughly twice the age difference of the boys changed my perspective.The day was long -50 years are a life-and winding-between gaps, ambitions and enemy attacks, "but the country marched on the morning of April 16 was the dreamland of that hero and that never went but we never stop pretending.Someone point me to another point in the modern map where a sea of children make the waves of a historic ship, where people of all ages and all ethnicities come together sweating and shouting the same joys but never before have seen, where everything the world expect to see a march of people short and fast because it only has the spontaneity and surprise as motivating a broad wave and infinite.Show me to believe that there is another martial geography where the military is changing quickly in the din of a human hive of bees singing animated by a young man who stole terrorism father and he retaliated by creating with joy.Most importantly, however, is that, besides all that, after all that, someone can find a country whose fate is decided by consensus, after collecting millions of views of the people and transform more than two thirds of the forecasts generated from the Executive for all ordinary people have suggested.Of course, for that nostalgia is installed permanently in the future requires yet another key component, that standing on Russia, its president accountable and infect us with marginal notes and deep, and at times painful, self-critical .That this president will bring us again and again, in his report, the leader who apparently is not, but it is in every idea that was not oriented. And we learn by attending this unique exercise of government, something exclusive to our tenacious story: that nothing is perfect, everything is improved, improved, and we believe in man, in its materiality, but that he, we would be nothing without such a deep spirituality that spoke to us from Varela and Cintio Vitier and Marti to Fidel Castro.Is that despite some errors and deviations of others, the guide has not lost its way. And all utopias are intact, though not named, nor can encontrárseles as always where we met.
